Miss Maggie is 9 weeks old. She was adopted by Paul's sister recently, after a family decided to let her go due to "allergies."

But given that the little lady growls and lunges at your hand when you reach to pet her, and cringes away, it's pretty clear that in the few weeks her former "family" had her, they weren't very kind and were inclined to smack her upside the head when she acted like the puppy she is. Fortunately, she was taken in by R when there's lots of time to learn and heal.

Maggie was very distrustful of the camera and its noises, and this expression makes me sad, because she seemed to think I was going to hurt her.
